The faster they spin, the quicker the fishing reel goes lower into the water. If a player does not play fast enough, their bear avatar falls asleep and the bonus game is played without them.
Once the bonus game is triggered, all qualifying bears begin to fish simultaneously. All fishes are worth cash prizes and the deeper the line, the greater the cash prize. If players are lucky enough to catch a goldfish it allows them to move to the next stage of the game.
The maximum number of fishes per bonus game is 3 and each player can only catch one gold fish. When the bonus game is over, players who have caught gold fishes release it back into the water to earn additional cash prizes as part of the second stage in the Fishing with Buddies bonus round.
The Fish a Crab feature is triggered if a crab symbol appears at the top of the reels under one of the bears that then drops a reel and fishes the crab out winning five times their total wager.
The Fishing with Buddies slots game has a total win of 5,000 coins for five wild symbols and a secondary jackpot of 2,000 coins for four wild symbols. The Fishing with Buddies logo, which acts as the scatter, offers a payout of 500x for five scatters anywhere on the reels.
